Autumn action – summer stress on the skin

Summer is the most demanding season for our skin. The sun, but also salt and chlorine water put a strain on the skin in the summertime.

Stronger UV Exposure from the summer sun, the associated increased use of sun creams, but also salt and chlorine water are the daily stresses on the skin during summer. These can be the most critical stress factors that burden the skin and can lead to skin reactions.
In addition to severe drying out due to increased exposure to water (several daily showers, swimming in chlorine or salt water), the skin can also become overly greasy due to increased use of sunscreen applied several times a day, or the use of the wrong sunscreen. The resulting stress related changes in the skin can cause skin reactions either directly or in the autumn and sometimes also accelerate the aging process.

It is therefore very important after our usually relaxing summer and holidays to allow the skin a recovery phase as well.
