On October 31 and November 1, 2025, Dr. Hero Schnitzler, board-certified dermatologist and venereologist as well as head of the derma competence center in Zurich-Enge, participated in the Dermatologic Surgery Workshop in Basel.
The hands-on course was designed to deepen basic dermatologic surgery skills and to learn advanced and modern surgical techniques. Another key focus was on aesthetic medicine and modern scar therapy, both of which play an increasingly important role in dermatologic and cosmetic treatments.
Dr. Schnitzler places great emphasis on continuous professional development and exchange with colleagues to ensure that patients at the derma competence center Zurich benefit from the latest scientific standards and methods.
Thanks to the dedicated four-physician team, appointments are currently available for dermatologic surgery, scar therapy, aesthetic medicine, skin cancer screening, and general dermatology consultations.
