Training for laser doctors is still difficult to plan and carry out as in person events due to the Corona pandemic.
Dr. med. Hero Schnitzler, dermatologist and laser expert in Zurich Enge therefore decided to hold this year’s training online.
This met with a great response, and so numerous dermatologists and colleagues interested in laser medicine took part online in the 2nd training day, the Dies Academicus, on March 5th, 2022.
Main topics about which dermatologist Dr. Hero Schnitzler spoke in front of the camera in his dermatology practice were:
- Laser application in practice and alternative treatment options.
He explained to the interested audience which different laser systems are available in his laser center and what these individual lasers are used for.
In addition to laser hair removal and laser tattoo removal, this also included laser treatment of age warts and age spots, laser treatment of spider veins and blood vessels, laser treatment for wrinkle therapy through collagen formation and laser removal of atheroma (plaque buildup). - In the second lecture, the laser doctor took a closer look at Permanent Laser Hair Removal. The lecture contained everything worth knowing about hair, its structure and growth. The focus of the lecture was all types of permanent laser and IPL Hair Removal. Their mode of action and side effects for permanent hair removal were explained and lasers such as the Alexandrite Laser and Diode Laser for hair removal were presented.
In closing, this topic as well as other important laser treatments were discussed in depth among colleagues.
