Dr. Hero Schnitzler and his Team at derma competence center in Zurich Enge are trying to help and medically support those affected by the war and displaced persons in and from Eastern Europe.
In addition to auxiliary aid organizations, dermatologist Dr. Schnitzler is very happy to be able to make at least a small but meaningful contribution to the medical care of those affected by donating a modern sterilization device together with accessories and material for surgical wound care. In the middle of last week, the device and accessories were unbureaucratically sent eastwards by a group of committed young helpers from central Switzerland. For this, dermatologist Dr. Schnitzler is extremely grateful.
Through his work assignments abroad for example in a township hospital in South Africa, Dr. Schnitzler knows from his own experience how important it is to have as many sterile instruments available as possible. This quickly becomes a scarce commodity, especially in a crisis situation, and those affected then have to wait a long time for wound care. This can lead to unnecessary blood loss and avoidable complications, such as infections, in those affected.
He was also able to help the first refugees from Ukraine through direct medical care at his dermatology practice in Zurich Enge.
Dr. Schnitzler and his Team continue to support people in need as best they can and hope with to set an example.
