Dermatologist Further Education in Berlin <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This year\u2019s Derma UpDate, held for the 13th time, is\none of the most important educational seminars for established dermatologist in\nGerman speaking countries. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over 2.100 participants attended both dermatology\nseminars in Mainz and Berlin. Dr. Schnitzler, with his practice for skin\ndisorders, the derma competence center in Zurich Enge, was able to take part in\nBerlin at this high-profile Further Education Seminar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The concept of this innovative educational program\nalso applies to other areas of specialization, for example, allergist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The goal is to bring participating dermatologists closer\nto all important and valuable research results, therapy innovations and\nguidelines of treatment for skin disorders over the past year; compact and\nbundled together in 2 days. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event stands by a good and sensible concept. For\nevery topic of skin disorder, there were lectures from leading doctors,\nspecialized in their respective fields. As absolute specialists, they shared\nwith the audience, the most important filtered content in their area of\nspecialization. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year there were lectures on: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Atopy & Eczema Diseases:<\/strong> This are conditions such as scalp, hand and\nfoot eczema, neurodermatitis, seborrheic eczema.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Psoriasis:<\/strong> This presentation covered psoriasis\nregarding the latest therapies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Genodermatoses:<\/strong> Genetic skin disorders are gaining more and\nmore importance which, was the main emphasis in this presentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dermatosurgery:<\/strong> The best tips and tricks for removal of benign\nand malignant lesions of the skin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mycology and Parasitology:<\/strong> Skin, nail and foot fungus as well as\nacrodermatitis (scabies) and the different treatment strategies were discussed\nin depth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

STD & Viral Diseases:<\/strong> Currently, the number of sexually\ntransmitted diseases is on the rise. For this reason, it is increasingly\nimportant for dermatologists to be up-to-date and prepared to treat these cases.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Allergology:<\/strong> Allergies are strongly related to skin disorders,\nespecially with regards to eczema. New allergens (triggering substances) are\nconstantly evident. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pigment Disorders:<\/strong> White patches (Vitiligo) but also other pigment\nchanges are very concerning to patients. A good and early diagnosis is extremely\nhelpful. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prescriptions, Acne \/ Rosacea:<\/strong> Here in particular, medications that are not\navailable in every pharmacy as over-the-counter, were discussed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Non Melanoma Skin Cancer and\n<\/strong>Melanomas:<\/strong> The absolute\nnewest in treatment of melanoma, squamous and basal cell carcinomas and their\nstages of development. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This all-encompassing and to the point program,\noffered all participating dermatologists, and so Dr. Schnitzler with his\npractice in Z\u00fcrich Enge, the possibility to receive vast amounts of information\nwithin a very short time, in order to optimize their patient care.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
