What are angiomas (hemangiomas)?
Angiomas are small, benign growths of blood vessels on the skin. They usually appear as red to dark red spots or small nodules and are commonly found on the upper body, décolletage, arms, or face. Ruby angiomas, in particular, often increase in number with age.
Medically speaking, angiomas are harmless, but many patients find them cosmetically unsightly.

KTP laser
The KTP laser is particularly well-suited for treating superficial red blood vessels and small angiomas. The laser light is specifically absorbed by the red blood pigment and precisely seals the dilated vessels without damaging the surrounding tissue.
Nd: YAG laser
The Nd:YAG laser penetrates deeper into the skin and is ideal for treating larger or deeper vascular lesions. It can also be used to effectively treat stubborn ruby angiomas.
