International Dermatology Exchange in Ireland – derma competence center

Dr. Fechner and Dr. Schnitzler from the derma competence center recently visited Ireland to participate in the Spring Meeting 2026 of the Irish Association of Dermatologists together with international colleagues.

The meeting focused on international professional exchange within modern dermatology.

Topics included current developments

• in inflammatory skin diseases such as psoriasis and atopic dermatitis,
• new approaches to skin cancer detection,
• and the growing role of digital technologies in dermatological diagnostics.

Particularly valuable was the direct exchange with dermatologists from different countries and healthcare systems. International meetings like these encourage new perspectives, practical discussions, and continuous knowledge transfer for daily patient care.
