Dermatologist and laser specialist, Dr. Schnitzler, visited the 5 Continent Congress in Barcelona, one of the largest international congresses for aesthetic and laser medicine.
A major topic at the congress in addition to topics such as wrinkle treatment with hyaluronic acid, PRP (vampire lift), thread lifting and botulinum, skin tightening with ultrasound and radio frequency, laser treatments in general, was especially laser hair removal.
News in the field of permanent laser and IPL hair removal were discussed and the latest hair removal lasers were demonstrated.

Exactly 5 days after the 5cc Congress, dermatologist Dr. Schnitzler lectured on the news from Barcelona. In this year’s training for colleagues to obtain the certificate of competence for permanent Laser hair removal, he was able to pass on the latest trends and experiences from Barcelona to his colleagues in Zurich.
As before, laser hair removal should be carried out in autumn and winter to avoid side effects from UV rays.
It is possible to permanently remove hair with lasers up to 95%. Other technologies such as IPL or radio frequency are also used but are still not superior to laser hair removal.
