This year, Dr Hero Schnitzler, dermatologist with his dermatology practice, the derma competence center in Zurich Enge, along with his colleagues, once again took part once again in the 13th Swiss Derma Day in Lucerne.
What is Swiss Derma Day?
This is one of the most important national congresses in Switzerland, a joint continuing education and training event organized by the University Clinics for Dermatology in Bern and Basel in collaboration with the clinics in Aarau, Bellinzona, Lucerne and Hôpitaux Universitaires Genève.
What were the main topics?
In addition to sexually transmitted infections, the thematic focus was on practice-relevant skin diseases categorized by body regions such as hands and feet, face, and the scalp. The program concluded with session on ‘Management’ offering valuable tips on enhancing patient satisfaction in your own practice.
Exchange of information
Renowned speakers from Switzerland as well as international experts shared insights in these areas. The event also provided excellent opportunities for collegial exchanges before, during, and after the sessions, making for a well-rounded educational experience in beautiful Lucerne.
