Dermatologist’s Further Education at the KKL, Lucerne
29. and 30. January 2020, Culture and Congress Center (KKL) in Lucerne Diagnostic and Therapy of crucial «Sexually transmitted diseases» Algorithm for Diagnosis and Therapy of dermatological disorders
Again, 2020, the Swiss Derma Day attracted many skin doctors to the KKL in Lucerne for the yearly and always well attended Further Education for Dermatologists.
Dermatologist Dr. Hero Schnitzler, Head Dermatologist at the derma competence center in Zurich Enge (District 2) also had the opportunity to participate this.
This year’s educational focus was on «Algorithms for Diagnosis and Therapy of dermatological Diseases», and Diagnosis and Therapy for crucial «Sexually Transmitted Diseases».
The presentations informed the participating dermatologist from Zurich, Lucerne and entire Switzerland, of clear and standardized methods for the diagnosis of skin disorders. This leads to a better comprehension of findings and detection by colleagues.
The presentations on these algorithms concerned various skin disorders and pursued the following areas in detail: Skin cancer, it’s pre and aftercare (Skin Check), Acne, Skin and Nail Fungus, Neurodermatitis, Psoriasis, Sexually Transmitted Diseases as well as other skin disorders.
Additional presentations also covered Aesthetic Dermatology (treatment with lasers, filler, threads, neuromodulation, peelings, PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma), Plasmage and many more).
Furthermore, tips and trends in the surgical removal of basal-cell carcinomas and melanomas as well as the removal of benign tumors, were candidly exchanged.
Established dermatologists like Dr. Hero Schnitzler in Zurich, strongly benefited for their everyday practice.
